How can I switch from Halogen to LED?

At first it is an important choice which light colour you would like. After this you look at which fitting there is and the voltage. A fitting is suitable for 12V or 230V. Also look at the wattage of the lamp, based on how much wattage you can calculate how much lumen is needed.

If you are already satisfied with the light colour of your halogen bulb then you should choose LED bulbs between 2100K and 3000K. If you still want a whiter colour then you better choose a higher Kelvin value.

Would you like a dimmable LED lamp, look carefully when choosing an LED lamp whether this LED lamp is dimmable. Not all LED lamps are dimmable. A big advantage is that LED lamps, unlike halogen lamps, consume up to 80% less electricity.
