How do I choose the correct beam angle?

It depends on the purpose of the beam that the lamp emits. If you want to illuminate a larger area you need a larger beam angle, if you want to focus on a specific object or place then a smaller beam angle is applicable. The common radiation angles are 36°, 38° and 45°. Take into account the distance between the lamp and the object that needs to be illuminated. The further away the lamp is from the object, the smaller the beam should be.

At an angle of radiation of 24° to 36°, the scattered light is illuminated over a wide area. This light is often used in open areas such as receptions, counters, catering and domestic areas.

A large beam angle of 60° or more ensures that as large a surface as possible is evenly illuminated. This is useful for schools, offices, warehouses and general areas.
