What are NEN standards?

NEN stands for "Dutch Standard" and provides clarity about how organizations create their products and services in confidence. For lighting the NEN standard is "NEN 12464-1" and wants to show more clarity about quality and safety of the products and services.

The European Union has set standards for interior lighting. Below you can see which lux values are used as the standard for an indoor workplace.
