Make sure that you do not connect more than 10 WiFi devices with a less powerful router, for example the one provided by your service provider. A WiFi extender/amplifier will not make your current router more powerful. It is recommended to purchase a professional WiFi router that can support more than 10 WiFi products.
If you bought a smart device from Homeylux at INTOLED, you can now take the first steps in creating a smart home. Once you've registered your account, you're ready for the next step: pairing your smart device. Follow the instructions below and you'll be able to control your smart product with your phone in no time.
1. Turn on your WIFI, on 2.4 GHz network
The first step is a very important one. Your Homeylux product is connected to your phone through your WIFI network. We advise you to stand within 2 meters of your router when connecting your smart product to the Homeylux App. Set your WIFI to 2.4GHz network, and turn off your 5GHz or rename this frequency. If you do not do this, the smart device will not be able to connect to your WIFI, making the connection impossible. If you have any questions about this, you can always contact your provider.
2. Open the Homeylux App on your phone
Once you've opened the app on your phone, click Add Device. Here you can manually add a device of your choice. For example, if you have a smart light bulb, click on the Lighting category. Here you can select your Homeylux Smart Lamp to add to the app.
3. Turn on your smart lamp
Plug your smart lamp into the wall socket and turn it on and off 3 times. Then your smart lamp will start blinking quickly. When this happens, click on Confirm indicator rapidly blink. Then click on Next.
4. Fill in your WIFI data
Again, make sure your WIFI network is at 2.4GHz. Only this is supported. Then select the correct WIFI network and enter the WIFI password. Then click Next.
5. Your device is paired
On the screen you can see your connected smart lamp. Click on the lamp and fill in a name you want to give the smart light. This can also be the space in which you want to mount the lamp, for example "lamp kitchen" or "lamp living room". Then click on Done.
6. Ready for use
Now your smart Homeylux device has been successfully paired! You can control your smart device directly with your smartphone. You can also use timetables and timers. If you have a smart lamp, you can use the app to set the colour temperature, light colours and brightness. Have fun with your Homeylux smart product!
